Want to know what other people think? Here's what our patients have to say about us.

Prior to your first visit with us, we'll email you the new patient paperwork to complete. The more information we have about your health history, the more we can help, and therefore we ask that you take your time filling it out with as much detail as you see fit.

What Should I Expect at My Visit?

All needed equipment will be provided by the doctor (as needed) where a few or all equipment may be necessary for each visit (i.e. chiropractic tables, equipment for health assessment, etc).

Prior to Your FIRST VISIT

We believe to be convenient as a phone call (Email) away, especially when it comes to your health, which incorporates many aspects, but with three main categories.

  • First, our team will schedule a phone/virtual consultation appointment time with you where the doctor will begin the consultation. She will go over an extensive history with you in regards to your current and past health challenges, if any.
  • Second, we will spend time explaining how neurologically-focused chiropractic wellness care works, and specifically how things are done in the practice.

We strongly feel that the more we know about you, and the more you know about us, the more we can help, and that's our primary mission.

3 The third component is likely the most important, and will be scheduled once the consultation is done as your home visit. This component is our comprehensive examination. The exam done at your home is very thorough and expansive, allowing us to figure out exactly what is going on with your health, and what the root cause of your challenges.

On your 2nd visit, we will go over all of the results from your examination (in-person or virtual). We refer to this as your Report of Findings. This is also the time where you have the freedom to ask any and all questions you may have.

The doctor will explain the results of the scans that were performed. The scans have 2-3 components depending on what was done, and each will be explained and related to your specific condition or challenge. Again, this is the most important piece as you will be re-scanned on a very specific schedule in order to track and document your functional improvements. It's very important to us that you have a good understanding of what is going on with your spine and central nervous system, so again questions will be taken throughout the entire Report of Findings.

  • Quicker than you think because we value your time! The longest time for each visit will be during the in-person evaluation appointments. This is where the doctor will perform a full assessment of the patient (i.e. physical exam, neurological exam, orthopedic tests, muscle palpation, full spine evaluation).
  • The reason for the longer evaluation visit is because it quickens the time for future follow-up home visits as the doctor already have the evaluation of the spine along with the areas of concern. Therefore, the following onsite home visits can be as quick as 15-25 minutes per patient or longer if needed (includes assessment, thermography, adjustment, and/or related concerns for supporting musculature).(Note: Time of visit may differ for wheelchair-bound patients versus ambulatory patients.)
  • Every part of the care with our practice contributes to the process designed to restore your health & wellness. So while you will likely have more frequent visits in the beginning you will be seeing progress with each step along the way!

That’s a great question and it differs from person to person, depending on a variety of factors which may include:

• Acute pain versus chronic

• Wellness goal achievement (Newborns/Kids, Pregnancy, Postpartum, etc)

• Inflammation and adaptability levels

... AND much more

Chiropractic adjustment is like going to the gym. When a person has 10, 20, 30+ years of adaptive bad posture, what happens? When the body is exposed to physical trauma (big or small), toxins, and/or thoughts that overwhelm us, this can lead to subluxations. Subluxations weakens the architecture of the developing brain, which can lead to lifelong problems in learning, behavior, and physical/mental health. Fortunately, chiropractic strengthens and restores normal body function by the body's own healing abilities. Despite all the wonderful things chiropractic assists with in life, it does not treat specific conditions, but focuses on how we can help your brain and body communicate with ease through the highway of neurologic communication. We see a variety of results and benefits that includes but not limited to:

• Better focus and concentration

• Improved coordination and spatial awareness

• Increased and maintained energy levels

That is why the frequency of visits to get the spine checked is vital to make prevent any unneeded stress on the body and/or permanent compensation from a debilitating situation.

Repeat visits are often necessary because our treatment is hands-on and typically requires a cumulative effect. For example, eating one apple a year will help a person be healthy. When working on a physical way with a physical condition, repeat treatments are necessary to train the body just as repeat exercise is necessary to train for strength. Some of our patients may start with as much as 3X PER WEEK and as little as twice a month for care because the body is able to maintain wellness and correction.

  • The doctor travels around the Bay Area for personalized client visits. Therefore, cost is subjected to travel time and necessary equipment needed (unique to everyone’s needs). This type of visit is not for everyone as it is not the cheapest care in the Bay Area, but if in-office visits is what you prefer we will gladly provide you to a trusted professional in your area.
  • First Home Visit (may include consultation, physical exam, and/or adjustment, when deemed necessary) can range from $200 - $316. A follow-up plan of care may be recommended after this visit (each follow up home visit can range from $116-$186 per visit) and the frequency and duration will be discussed during your Report of Findings.
  • HSA, Flex spending accounts, VISA, MC, AMEX are accepted.
Superbill for patient billing to their insurance is available upon request for insurance reimbursements.
  • Will my insurance cover all my visits? We would LOVE to say that all insurance care about you and covers all your visits for the money that you pay for, but unfortunately this isn't always the case. For the type of care we offer at Andromeda Wellness usually consists of care plans that are customized and personalized to help you and your family achieve your health goals. More times than ever insurance cover less than what you expect it would that's why we have different care plan options for you to choose from to make payments flexible for your family's budget. If you're looking for a team who will care about your health and offer the care that you need and deserve we'll be there for you and guide you to the lifestyle you'd like to live. That's why HSA and flex spending accounts are best if you do not want others to dictate how much care is needed for your family.
